6 Things Your Dog or Cat Can Have this Thanksgiving! Plus a Bonus Recipe for Their Own Special Dinner!

Lets prevent any vomiting, diarrhea, painful bellies, and toxicity poisoning this season! Always give your cat or dog food that is free from seasoning, butter, sugar, sugar free (xylitol) substitutes, chocolate, or fat. Some seasoning is toxic and too much fat can cause your pet to get a painful abdomen, vomiting and diarrhea. They should never be given any sugar free foods since it is toxic for them.  Never give your pet garlic, onions, tomatoes, grapes, sugar free foods (xylitol), gravy, alcohol, bones or skin.

Below are 6 things your pet can have and will enjoy!

  • Boneless skinless chicken or boneless skinless turkey breast free of seasoning, butter or fat
  • Plain Sweet Potatoes free from butter or seasoning
  • Fresh or frozen veggies such as celery, carrots, broccoli, green beans, cauliflower, or squash
  • fresh or canned pumpkin
  • Fresh or frozen cranberries in moderation
  • Apples

The best idea is to make a meal especially for them. As long as they do not have allergies this should not upset their belly. Set your crock pot to low and add boneless, skinless chicken breast, white rice, bone broth, water, celery, broccoli, green beans, cut up sweet potato, pumpkin, and a small amount of cranberries or sliced apples. Let it cook all day on low and it will be ready by dinner! A dinner full of flavor and antioxidants just for them and ready for their own special and safe Thanksgiving feast!

Have a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving!
